How do I shop if I'm shipping to a destination outside of the US?

Select the country where you will be shipping your order to, which will change the currency our prices are displayed in. When you are ready to checkout, you will see local payment methods and calculations for any additional taxes that are payable. You will also have the option to change the language in the checkout.

Please note that all ring sizes displayed are U.S. sizes, please see our ring size guide to determine your size.

Do you offer e-gift cards for international customers?

For now, our e-gift cards are only available to customers shipping within the Canada & US.  

What currency Should you use?

We display and collect payments in the local currency when you select your shipping country. You will be charged in the currency listed at checkout.

ELGA is not responsible for any currency exchange fees charged by banks.

When will I receive my order?

Shipping times can vary, but most orders are shipped within 2 - 3 working days of purchase, pending availability and credit verification. Once your order ships, we estimate you will receive your order within 7-8 working days of the ship date.

Loose Stones

Currently, loose stones are only available to ship to Canada & US addresses. We are working hard to be able to offer this to more locations and will update our email database as soon as we are able to do so. We appreciate your patience and look forward to being able to ship to you soon!

How do I track my international order?

Can I have my order delivered to a PO box?

We are unable to ship to PO boxes.  

Returns and Refunds:


You can returned fine jewelry, engagement rings, or wedding bands within 30 days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method or as a gift card. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be in its original condition and packaging, accompanied by all original documentation.

All returns and exchanges must be authorized by ELGA. We will only accept returns that are returned using the prepaid USPS shipping label that we send to you at the time you request a return.

All items must be returned to us from the same country to which they were delivered.

Jewelry sets must be returned together, unworn and in their original packaging. We are unable to accept returns of individual items within the set.

Loose stones must arrive in their original condition and must not have been previously set.

Note :- Cut For You ELGA created diamonds cant be returned if they are a Round Brilliant, Oval, Emerald, Pear, Radiant, Cushion, Marquise, Trillion, Asscher, Princess, or Elongated Cushion less than 5ct.

Engagement Rings cannot be engraved, resized or altered in any way, if they are this will be deemed nonrefundable. Made to order sizes are eligible for returns as normal.  

Travel Pouch - if a full order is returned then the jewelry pouch must also be returned or its retail value will be deducted from any refund.

We reserve the right to reject any returns that do not meet these conditions; in the case that such items are returned, we will return these items to you. Defective or faulty items should be returned inside their original packaging where possible and within 90 days from date of delivery.

All items returned will be refunded to your original payment method. If you wish to exchange your item you can do this via the returns portal or you can purchase another replacement item, directly on our website.

Once we receive your return, please allow 8 - 15 business days for our warehouse to process your return and then 5 - 10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. We’ll send you a confirmation email once our team has processed your return, so you know your refund is on the way.


Please note that certain items cannot be returned, including personalized fine jewelry like nameplates, modified or resized rings, misused jewelry altered by a third-party jeweler, "Cut for You" ELGA  created diamond orders (unless it's a Round Brilliant, Oval, Emerald, Pear, Radiant, Cushion, Marquise, Trillion, Asscher, Princess, or Elongated Cushion less than 5ct), and custom-designed jewelry.


Returns & Recycling Fees:

 All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a reason for return.

we are happy to offer returns within 30* days of the date your package was delivered. Your original shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping is 40 CAD ($) charged in the currency the order was purchased in and will be deducted from your refund amount. Duties and taxes paid separately at checkout are non-refundable.

Our sustainability commitment extends to the recycling process for returned engagement rings, wedding bands, and made-to-order fine jewelry. We will unset the diamond(s) and melt the metal for recycling. To cover this process, a recycling fee will be deducted from each engagement ring refund, and a separate fee for wedding bands and made-to-order fine jewelry items.

Holiday Return Policy: Please note, items ordered between Nov 1st 2023 - Dec 31st 2023 will have an extended 60 days return window from the date your package was delivered.

SALE Item Return Policy: Please note, items included in our Sale(s) or marked with a % off have been heavily discounted and are only eligible for returns within 14 days of delivery.

Resizing:

 Our Lifetime Care Package includes one complimentary resize for engagement rings and wedding bands up to one full US size up or down, by the quarter, half, or full size (1 sizes up or down by the half or full size in European and UK sizes).

 If your engagement ring resize request is outside of one full size, additional steps may be required.

 Infinity band styles cannot be resized and must be returned and repurchased in the correct size.

Return Process:

To begin the returns process, please visit our online portal from your account. You will then be guided through the returns process, entering your order number and email address and then selecting the items you wish to return.

Once you have registered your return, we will send you a prepaid USPS label you can use to return the items using their original shipping box and packaging (this is to ensure the pieces stay protected on their way back to us). Please include a copy of your original dispatch note inside the box (your order will arrive with two copies, so in the event of a return you can keep one for your records). Please ensure your personal details (name, cell and email) are filled out on the dispatch note.

Please ensure you receive a proof of postage from the Post Office when you ship back your item as we are unable to issue refunds for items we do not receive back. We also will not accept liability for any items that might be lost in transit or don’t arrive should you choose an alternative shipment method.

DUTIES & TAXES

Are taxes and duties included in my order total?

The way duties, taxes and other customs fees are treated is dependent on what country you are shipping to.

For USA and Canada , we include the duties in the price that is displayed on each product page and sales tax is calculated at checkout.  You will not need to pay any additional fees when your order arrives.

For all other countries, the duties and taxes that are payable to your local customs authority are calculated at checkout. In most cases, you will have the option to either:

  1. Pay the duties and taxes at the time of check out. The guarantees that you will not have to pay any additional fees at the time of delivery
  2. Pay the duties and taxes at the time of delivery. If you select this option, the courier will get in touch with you when the parcel arrives at your country to obtain payment ahead of delivering your parcel. Should you select this option and then refuse delivery, the return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount. 

Are duties and taxes refundable on return orders?

Any duties and taxes collected separately at checkout and/or paid to your local customs authority at the time of your delivery are non-refundable. This is because Elegance Jewels are unable to recover these fees from your customs authority.

How are duties and taxes calculated?

Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items ordered, where they were made, your shipping destination and the value of your purchase. 

These charges are determined by your local customs authority and includes:

  1. The Sales Tax applied by your country and
  2. Duties charged for processing by your country.
